Our December family is our first Grandma.  Grandma Jennifer was in the shelter when her two grandsons (ages 3 & 6) were brought to her, for full custody.  A two bedroom apartment was family for this family of three and we collected 4 full car loads of donations to make this family feel comfortable and secure in the months to come.  Five of us moved this family in -unpacked/washed/put away, curtain rods/coat hooks/shower curtains hung, and every piece of recycling & garbage tossed, within two hours.

32 hours later the items in the pictures below were dropped to the family, creating a Christmas experience for them + improved their overall situation.

This family literally had 3 (plastic) forks that they reuse every meal. 

I have pictures of almost everything (missing the tree & ornaments, a dinner voucher and a Christmas dinner delivery). Every dollar that wasn't spent on the tree & ornaments was gifted to this family in grocery cards.
