Our Volunteers rallied together to help out the first of four families in need this January

Our third client of January is a woman who recently separated from her husband to escape abuse.  Khush is moving into a basement apartment February 1st and has a small list of requested items that we are happy to help her obtain.

Our fourth & final family this month are refugees who recently just moved to Canada 12 weeks ago. They were  referred to us by our friends at The Compass Food Bank. They have a 13 &10 yr old and expecting their third child in a couple weeks. Their need of home and baby items is big and they are so grateful for this help from The Fresh Start Project team!

“Myself including whole family is much grateful to all of you. Your excellent support was more than generous. At one point myself and wife got tears of happiness. You all really won our hearts. We are lucky to be here. All the items were most needed. I really want to say so much but not getting the words to reward your support and express our humbled feelings.
We wish and pray, hopefully soon the time will change and we will also be able to take part to support all in need.
