59 year old “M” and her 25 year old son “M” have been living in a shed for the last year to keep a roof over their head and shelter from the elements. Our local food bank and Outreach Centre, The Compass, has been able to connect them with a Community Service Team that is putting them into a controlled rent apartment for 8 months, while they are able to rebuild, find jobs and begin saving some money. Imagine how The Fresh Start Project has helped with their new place.
