Client # 1 was sent to The Fresh Start Project just 40 hours before her move, the Team had to act quickly to collect the items needed to fulfil the client’s wish list.’
"Though, I may not have any word to express my feelings for every single person who helped me during my difficult situation and as well as to get all those things that more than what I deserve. But, from core of my heart I would like to say I am happy and glad to got all support from you and your every team members. I appreciate every single person who gave me their time, effort, and all amazing gifts to start my new journey. I am really thankful to them. Wish you all a very happy life forever. M”
Our Second Client
Client #2- N had been in an abusive relationship for 13 years. In January her X, dumped her belongings in the snow and kicked her out. She's leaving the shelter she's been in 5 months to get her next chapter started.
“I didn’t realize people would help me. This is a lot. This means a lot. Thank you for helping me. Thank you very much".
Our Third Client
Our third Client T is our first client from Home For Good through the John Howard Society. T has been homeless and "couch surfing" (her term) for some time after leaving an abusive relationship. My first conversation with her was like explaining she won the lottery. Her combination of shock, thrill and overwhelm of how The Fresh Start Project can support her transition.
""Hey Nancy! We got it all together.. I can't thank you enough... This is extremely overwhelming .. In such a blessed way ... I appreciate it with my all heart.. Thank you soooooo much to The Fresh Start Project“
Our Fourth Client
Client K and her daughter, along with Shelter Movers, came to collect all the items that The Fresh Start Project members so graciously donated for them this week. They were both so grateful and excited and the sweet little 6 year old said, “This is the best day” when I told her about all the awesome things that were in the boxes waiting to be unpacked
K would like to thank you all for helping her and her daughter as they move to their new place.
